Restoring Access to Essentials Following the Earthquake

Kaylar village is the largest village on Lake Inle. During the earthquake, a large percentage of the houses either collapsed or were structurally damaged. Many of these families either lack shelter or reside in precarious accommodations. Additionally, the largest barrier was accessing clean water, as many boreholes and water distribution infrastructures were destroyed during the earthquake.

The project targets the community to provide access to clean water, as there are already vulnerabilities from the earthquake, with limited or lacking shelter.
