Kenya, MSF TB-MDR patients in Green House in Mathare, + Gender Based Violence campaign in Nairobi, March 2014.

Each month, two to three new cases are admitted for treatment in Green house clinic. In early 2014, MSF put a first patient on “compassionate” treatment with new Bedaquiline drug. This procedure, allows a pharmaceutical company to provide a drug to physicians for treating patients who have no other therapeutic alternative.
MSf staff went to different slums in Nairobi to perform music and theatre on the issue of gender based violence.. MSf also advertised the GBV clinic in Mathare - open 24 hours a day to raise awareness about GBV..
