In 2015, when the United Nations holds its 5th World Conference on Women, and the Millennium Development Goals will be assessed, we aim to use the example and voices of women as a vehicle to explain their prevailing situation in different contexts. Despite being extremely vulnerable to their living conditions in complex and violent places, women are also the pillar that ensures the survival of their families and communities.

Women will be the key players of “Women who move the world." From the perspective of women’s identities and personal stories, we will look into four humanitarian crises: México, Palestine, Jordan and Central African Republic.

Our goal with this project is to give visibility to these crises and show what MSF has been doing on this matter by exploring the role women have in saving their own lives and those of their dependents’.
