Since the beginning of the conflict in eastern Ukraine, MSF has supported more than 350 health facilities with donations of medical equipment and medicines to treat war-wounded, people with chronic diseases, provide primary healthcare and help safe deliveries for pregnant women.

MSF is running mobile clinics in 40 different locations around Artemovsk and Mariupol, providing basic healthcare to residents and displaced people.

A mobile clinic team usually consists of a doctor, nurse and psychologist, who visit an existing polyclinic or ambulatory to provide medical and mental healthcare once a week.

MSF is providing psychological support services to those affected by the conflict through the mobile clinics, and also in schools and homes for displaced people.

MSF teams provide individual and group counselling, as well as training in psychological first aid for health workers.
Mental health staff provided emotional support and practical tools for people struggling with symptoms of posttraumatic stress disorder such as extreme fear, anxiety and nightmares.
