Mangu, Plateau, Nigeria: MSF Response in camps for internally displaced people

On April 14th, an incident occurred in the village of Murish in Mangu LGA. It was a clash between herders and farmers because of the grazing of their cattle. The clash tragically resulted to the loss of two lives in the village.
This conflict then spread to other villages affecting the life of the villagers.
The conflict affected 30,000 households across Mangu local government area.
Many of these affected now live in camps in Mangu. Cut from their homes and sources of livelihood, the people need humanitarian aid.
Since July 2023, MSF has been providing medical services such as outpatient consultations, sexual and reproductive health services, immunization, nutrition assessment, mental health consultations and referral services.
