Margaret Abuk arrived
in Twic County
in February 2022

She fled Agok
with her three children

I’m also a displaced person
because I ran from Anet,
near Agok.
I’m now in Majak Aher
because of the conflict,
because we were afraid,
because people were
killing us
and our children,
we had to run to this place
where there is administration
and protection
and non-govermental
organisations
to help us in the camp.

Margaret is
one of the two
community
health workers
in Majak Aher
displaced camp

She has been
trained by MSF
to recognise
and treat
simple cases of malaria,
diarrhoea
and malnutrition

We, displaced persons,
are suffering.
When we arrived,
it was MSF who helped us.
But now,
we are lacking blankets,
mosquito nets, mats,
food and water as well.
