Village Wounded People:

"The area where we are working is beautiful, you know, and when you have bright days with clear blue sky the mountain’s astonishing, but everybody knows that this beauty is very short and it will not last because when you have this blue sky then it’s easy access for helicopters and they have the perfect view and they will come. You never know how many they will be but when it starts, it starts. Then you just wait basically and then you try to be prepared and then you just hope that ok, no wounded and if there is, not severely and not too many. This day we received six wounded very quickly and one patient was dead at arrival, and several of them needed emergency surgical interventions. We had a child being on the roof of his house, just hearing the helicopter he basically jumped. One woman from this shrapnel her foot was injured that severely that we had to amputate. We had injuries in the abdomen with internal bleeding.
This specific village that was mentioned, yes, it’s correct, they have it on schedule. On Wednesdays the helicopter will go to this village and will drop several drums and people have learned this now. So basically, in case we need to reach this village during Wednesdays we will find a ghost city."
