SpeakInk 2020

During the month of October anyone participating in the MSF SpeakInk creates an ink drawing and posts it online, and doesn’t need to be professional in drawings.

In 2019, MSF Lebanon collaborated with missions in Egypt and Lebanon for the first time to use this challenge to raise awareness of several key operational medical messages linked to Sexual Violence, Mental Health, Access to Care and Antibiotic Resistance as well as institutional messages focusing on recruitment and MSF identity in general. 9 illustrations where produced by 6 artists. The illustrations were posted once every week for MSF Lebanon and twice every week from MSF Arabic. In addition to that, we asked the illustrators to share their work on their own social media accounts, tagging MSF’s, to increase the visibility of MSF towards new audience market.

This year, MSF is building on this experience to, first, continue this fruitful collaboration with artists themselves, and, second, to expand our network of artists and to expand geographically to other MENA countries as well.
