We all have a red line. Ours is that of humanity.

Again, and again, in Gaza, Sudan, Ukraine,human life is ignored, abused, attacked.

We see it every day in conflicts and wars around the world. The principle of humanity is being buried beneath projectiles.

The result: unimaginable suffering for the civilian population, who are stripped of their most basic rights and possessions, with no access to protection and healthcare.

We are Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières. But we do have a border: the one that marks the protection of civilians and medical personnel.

There are lines that should never be crossed.

We draw the line at attacks on civilians, hospitals and medical personnel. The border that protects civilians and doctors should never be crossed.
