Over the last decade, attacks against civilians and the medical mission have only increased. In the Gaza Strip alone, 516 health facilities were attacked between 7 October 2023 and 25 September 2024.* Our colleague Mohammed, medical coordinator in Gaza, says that the most terrifying thing is the shaking of the ground. He also says that the spirit of the Gazan people has been broken.  

A deliberate attack on a neutral medical facility is a war crime. When will these systematic attacks around the world cease and those responsible be held to account?
