Enhancing Maternal and Neonatal Health Services to save lives in Nduta Camp

Nduta Camp, located in Tanzania, has been a refuge for Burundian and Congolese refugees for several years. MSF in Tanzania provides free health services in Nduta Camp since 2015 where it supports a hospital providing refugees and provides medical assistance to host communities as well. The recent decision to close the camp has been rooted in several factors including the Policy Shifts: Tanzania has seen shifts in its refugee policies, focusing more on encouraging repatriation and reducing the number of active refugee camps in the country. MSF remains committed to assist the remaining refugees while many actors already left.
