On July 15, 2023, following the initial rescue operation, Geo Barents proceeded towards the coordinates of another distressed boat. As our team reached the scene, we observed a Libyan Coast Guard vessel in the vicinity. Upon conducting a thorough search, we discovered an abandoned boat adrift. This finding raises the possibility of another incident involving interception and forced return to Libya.
