Palestinians in Hebron, West Bank, live in constant fear as violence surges.

Since October 7th, echoing the escalation of the Israel-Gaza war, the situation around Hebron, in the West Bank, in the Occupied Palestinian Territories has extremely deteriorated, creating an unprecedented climate of violence for the population. Hebron serves as a stark illustration of the Palestinian population suffering under occupation, a pervasive climate of intimidation and coercion. The daily reality of their lives translates into restrictions on movement, forced eviction and displacement, home demolitions, search-and-arrest operations, disruption of schooling and the continuous presence of the Israeli military and settlers. In November 2023, MSF expanded mobile clinic activities as access to healthcare is continuously obstructed by the increase of checkpoints, enforced curfews and forced displacement. Accessing medical facilities has been increasingly dangerous for people while providing medical services has been gradually challenging for medical organizations.
