“It feels like no one cares about Sudan”
Dr. Mohamed Bashir, Sudanese medical staff member with Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières, witnessed firsthand the toll of war in his country, last year, he authored the well-used MSF piece The Healing Hands of Sudan. Now, observing the crisis through the lens of displacement in Warrap State, South Sudan, he has written a follow-up first-person account titled Who Cares About Sudan? He pencils the persistent needs in his homeland and his perspective as an international staff responding to crises in neighboring South Sudan.
