“I was born in Bucaranga. When I got married, I moved with my husband to Bangui. He worked as a guardian. We had a good life, but in 2014 everything exploded. When the conflict began, there were massacres everywhere. Our neighbours were killed and the mosque where we used to go was destroyed. We finally managed to leave and save our life.

I will never go back to Bangui. We saw too many atrocities and all our memories are full of blood and destruction”.
