Additional Information / Shotlist In Ukraine, MSF is working closely with local volunteer groups, civil society organizations, and local authorities to help meet the needs of communities impacted by the conflict and cut off from care and services. These groups are the foundation of the humanitarian response in Ukraine and have provided the vast majority of the aid there from the beginning. They have close ties with the communities and know what and where the needs are.
In Kharkiv, MSF partners with these groups to distribute goods such as food boxes and hygiene kits and to deliver medications to people’s homes. Working alongside them, MSF has been a witness to their tireless dedication and capacity to reach the most vulnerable communities with essential items.
