In Dahiyeh, Southern Beirut, MSF Helps Restoring Essential Services Amid Military Threats and Forced Displacement

Dahiyeh, a densely populated suburb in southern Beirut, has effectively become a frontline within the city, sustaining extensive damage after being hit hundreds of times by Israeli aerial bombardments since the escalation on 2 March 2026. The area has also been subjected to multiple forced displacement orders. Present in the area to help restore essential services, MSF is deeply concerned about the impact of repeated displacement and the lack of safety for vulnerable populations.
