Overview of the situation in Borno state.

In the frontline of the conflict between the jihadist group Boko Haram and the Nigerian government, MSF is providing aid to the hospitals in the region and organized food and NFI distribution. In the region of Bama, in the Borno state, the malnutrition is the first problem of the population there. All city are empty, the people fled to the different camp (Custom camp, Muna Garage…) then they can’t work on their field to provide food to the population. Beside the malnutrition diseases are spreading to the population (diarrhea, infections and malaria). Furthermore there is a big problem to access at drinking water. MSF and other actors are trying to respond to these needs but the situation for the population is still difficult.
