Refugees in Serbia

After the new restrictions and administrative procedures implemented by Balkan governments, thousands of people are stranded between Serbia, FYROM and Greece.
Among them, there are many Afghan people, which are no longer allowed to cross. But also many men, women, children coming from Syria, Iraq without the right documents requested by authorities or arbitrarily refused the entry on regularly changing criteria. Those who were able to cross and reach Serbia are currently sent back from one border to another, stressed and anxious and without adequate information. MSF is providing support to them in Sid, at the border between Serbia and Croatia, at the registration center of Presevo, between FYROM and Serbia and in the transit camp of Idomeni, between FYROM and Greece.
