MSF mobile clinic in Port Sudan

MSF teams have been offering support to the displaced communities in Port Sudan since the end of January. Thus far, we have treated approximately 4523 patients through our mobile clinics. Our teams have extended assistance to around 65 sites, through community healthcare workers from displaced community, health promotion activities focusing on hygiene promotion, active case finding, health education on prevention of communicable diseases and sensitization on sexual violence are implemented.


As of March 31, our health promotion team has reached 8474 people with various health messages, conducted 601 household visits, 299 women group sessions and 168 children’s groups. MSF has also distributed 2, 000 mosquito nets in 28 IDP gathering sites.
