"The health sector is about to fail.

I don't know how we will deal with the huge number of wounded people.

At our hospital, in normal days, the maximum capacity is 700 beds.

Some severely injured patients stay in the emergency department waiting for surgical interventions, but we don't have places [to hospitalise them] at this time.

Unfortunately, most of the wounded patients are civilians - children and women.

We are working under severe pressure.

We have very limited medical equipment. Even MSF France and MSF Belgium opened its stores to be used by the Minister of Health here in Gaza.

Of course, no electricity is available.

It is unknown how much gasoline is left [to run the generators].

It is only a matter of time.

There are no safe places outside.

We have here in the hospital more than 40,000 civilians who came to the hospital seeking some safety.

The Israeli army asked for all the hospitals in Gaza to be evacuated.

This order is not sensible, because more than 3,000 wounded patients cannot be evacuated to any place. "
