"Thousands of people have arrived. Children abandoned, there were pregnant women beaten up. There were a lot of injured people coming in from all sides from morning to night. MSF staff are still welcoming the injured and the situation is very complicated at the moment."

"Following the clashes that took place on the El Geneina road, many wounded people came from Djelabé, where the attack took place.
At the moment, most of the wounded arriving here have been hit in the kidneys and buttocks. Some have been hit in the head and chest. There are also young children who have been hit by bullets all over their bodies.
Many of them also have broken legs.
MSF is doing everything it can to respond to this emergency with the support of partners."
