4 August 2023: a hospital in Kherson, Ukraine, was shelled twice in 72 hours. Since February 2022, MSF has repeatedly witnessed the destruction of medical facilities in Ukraine. This attack is consistent with a pattern MSF observed in the war, particularly with regard to Russian forces shelling civilian and medical infrastructure. “There were roughly 150 people in the facility at the time of the shelling.
