Over recent years MSF has expanded its screening and testing services activities in Machar.

Bending the curve of hepatitis C prevalence in Machar Colony is a one of a kind intervention for MSF in Pakistan . All the services related to hepatitis C care, from screening to treatment were provided under one roof. We also incorporated community awareness, in-house testing, doorstep screening and hepatitis C self-testing.

“Three months after the end of my treatment, I went back to the clinic and they did another test.
At midday they called me with final results and told me my illness was over and my treatment was complete. They congratulated me on my recovery.

Alhamdulillah I am perfectly fine now and there is nothing to be afraid of.”
