MSF medical outreach team together with MOHS lab technician consulting Yabu about her 2-year-old daughter Amie who is being screened for TB at the MSF DOT site in Gbendembu, Bombali District.

In Bombali district, MSF works together with the Ministry of Health and Sanitation to provide treatment for TB patients. In its strategy to combat TB, the team has flagged 12 DOT sites and the outreach team of medical practitioners visits every DOT site once a week to screen patients, collect samples for testing, administer treatment and do referrals.
