A patient in G’azalken, a town near Tashkent in the waiting room of the mobile laboratory, where the lab team provides health promotion and awareness-raising consultations. In Tashkent and Tashkent region MSF in collaboration with the Republican AIDS Centre runs a mobile laboratory. Operating from a specially equipped bus, it provides express testing for HIV, hepatitis C and syphilis, as well as information on the treatment opportunities, and referrals to specialised medical facilities for people who have difficulty accessing diagnostics, medical and preventive care.
