Ici, MSF gère un centre de traitement des traumatisme pour les personnes souffrant de stress post-traumatique lié à la guerre.

We are in the logistic office and logisticians are in charge of supply, organising transport for all staff, and also everything related
to facility management. They're also in charge of security
with the project coordinator because here, security is a very
important thing to monitor every day.
Nous sommes dans le bureau logistique et nos logisticien·ne·s sont en charge de l’approvisionnement, du transport de toute l’équipe et de la gestion des infrastructures. Ils et elles sont également en charge de la sécurité avec la coordinatrice du projet, car ici, la sécurité est un aspect très important à suivre au quotidien.

We are in the entrance
of the Trauma Centre. Here the reception,
and there, the waiting area. People can book appointment
through phone call and also through our team members
of the health promotion team. Their role is really key.
Nous sommes à l’entrée du centre. Ici, la réception et là-bas, l’espace d’attente. Les personnes peuvent prendre rendez-vous par téléphone ou auprès de l’équipe de promotion de la santé dont le rôle est clé.

They are the ones who raise awareness
about the signs and symptoms of PTSD. They organise recreational activities
with partners in Vinnytsia and they also raise awareness
among the medical staff, so people can actually be referred
here for assessment.
Ce sont eux·elles qui sensibilisent sur les signes et symptômes du stress post-traumatique. Ils et elles organisent des activités récréatives avec des partenaires à Vinnytsia. Etils et elles sensibilisent le personnel médical afin qu’ils et elles détectent et référent les patient·e·s ici pour un premier diagnostic.

Behind that door,
there are the consultation rooms. We have 5 psychologists in our team,
and soon to be 6. For the first assessment, there is an appointment with
the medical doctor of our team and a psychologist to see if the patient
can be enrolled in our program.

Derrière cette porte se trouvent les salles de consultation. Il y a cinq psychologues dans l’équipe, bientôt six. Pour la première consultation, notre médecin ainsi qu’un·e psychologue sont présent·e·s pour définir si le·la patient·e peut être inclus·e dans notre programme.

And you see it is a cosy environment for confidential discussions.
Comme vous pouvez le voir, c’est un environnement chaleureux pour des discussions confidentielles.

In September 2023, MSF has opened the Trauma Centre in Vinnytsia and receive around 30 patients per week for consultation.
