Supertyphoon Man-yi emergency response in the Philippines

Supertyphoon Man-yi (local name Pepito) is the sixth storm to hit the Philippines in a single month. Man-yi hit the town of Dipaculao, Aurora Province, on November 17. Rainfall levels ranged from moderate to torrential, while the highest tropical cyclone wind signal raised was Signal No. 5. Storm surges reached over three meters high. The seaside barangay (community) of Dinadiawan was one of the hardest hit.

MSF launched a mobile clinic in Dinadiawan on November 25, providing medical consultation, wound care, and mental health and psychosocial support, in cooperation with local healthcare workers.
