Medical needs are overwhelming in Gaza. In the three weeks since opening our second field hospital in Deir Al Balah, we carried out 4,793 outpatient consultations, 40% of whom were children under 14.

On 15 October, our teams expanded activities to include pediatric hospitalization, with 18 inpatient beds, 8 isolation rooms and 4 intermediate intensive care unit.
