45-year old Nyachuol* prepares a meal of forest fruits for her children. She fled from South Sudan’s Upper Nile State with her three youngest children and arrived in Pagak in August 2020. Additional Information / Shotlist Thousands of asylum seekers from South Sudan have been stuck for months in appalling conditions in Pagak reception center in Ethiopia’s Gambella region, without being registered and having access to any meaningful services, especially food aid. All of them are from the Nuer community, and the majority are women and children. MSF is worried that conditions will deteriorate even further in the upcoming rainy season.
