In Ukraine, MSF assists the victims of the war triggered by the Russian invasion on 24 February 2022.
Despite its experience in countries at war, MSF faced a particular challenge in Ukraine: finding the best way to intervene in complementarity with the healthcare system, which mounted an impressive response to the war-induced needs. Medical coordinator Diana Galindo worked on the rehabilitation of war-wounded, the evacuation of vulnerable people and the deployment of mental health services.
