Globally one in three women experienced physical and sexual violence, especially at the hands of their partner.

We collected the voices and the faces of those who work in our MSF project in Rome, Italy. SA.I.DA. is a project of sexual and reproductive health for migrant women run in collaboration with local health authorities.

The aim is to inform migrant women about sexual and reproductive health and to support them to access public health services.

In Rome, MSF assisted hundreds of women coming from more than 40 different countries. Many of them experienced violence and suffering but at the same time they are examples of rebirth and resilience.
