When she was born, they said her lung wasn't doing well. They put her in the incubator in the preterm ward. A day or two later they called us, and they had put a cannula in her leg.

We came to the hospital here in Al-Mansour, Baghdad. They welcomed us and received us and my daughter underwent rehabilitation and physiotherapy, and told us that they would send us to Amman.

They brought us to Amman to remove the knee. Here they decided to give her a prosthesis and try to train her on it so they don't remove the knee. If she adjust well to the prosthesis she will not need an operation and if she does not adapt to the prosthesis, she will need an operation to remove the knee.
