“We were searching for the boat for six hours. We finally found the boat at 12 in the night so it was really dark. The boat was in really bad condition so we had to proceed with the rescue fast. This last rescue was one of the most difficult rescues that I've ever done.”

“It's been a long journey. We've been in the sea almost 30 hours. Without the engine it's been 10 hours.
You know, we were very stressed and we didn't know what to do. It was a bit scary. Everybody was stressed. We got a pregnant woman with us. We got a lot of people sick in the boat.
Our boat flipped and a lot of people start to drown. But thank God no one died from us.”

“It was 31 persons. When we transferred to our boat the first 15 or 16 persons, the boat capsized and the people started to fall in the water.
We started to recover the people as fast as possible. We finally recovered everyone and everyone is safe in the Geo Barents.”
