This incinerator is a medical waste furnace built from locally made material that transforms waste into ash. The previous design of incinerator had to have metallic parts in it which tend to rust and get damaged quickly. This one that we introduced for our activities in Embu has no metallic or mechanical parts of it hence an enhanced version.

This version has a bigger and taller chimney to direct the smoke away from the health facility. The chimney ensures that enough air is drawn into the stove for the fire to burn clean guaranteeing efficient waste disposal.
