One of my sons studied up to class 9 at Buthidaung until he was 16.
One evening he went for tuition to a house.
We haven’t seen him since then.
We searched for him for a month.
We couldn’t find any trace of him. I have two others adult boys.

After discussing it with my wife, we decided to leave Burma fearing we’d lose our remaining children.

We had nine members in my family. Eight of us arrived here safely. I didn’t find my eldest son.
One of my brothers, who was also able to study, is still in Burma.
I talked to him over the phone last night and again this morning.
They’re no longer at home. They’re hiding in the forest now.
