• . Due to the increase of cases, on the 10th of April we expanded the bed capacity to 68 beds and on 25th of the same month we extended the capacity up to 90 beds.
• Most of the inpatient departments, male and female, are full of patients.
• As for the intensive care unit, it is permanently full.

• We’re using 500 oxygen bottles – and each bottle has an 8000-litre capacity – on a daily basis for IPD and ER. For the ICU we have an oxygen plant that’s dedicated only to it.

They took me to Rada’a hospital, they told me I might have COVID-19, and they referred me to Sana’a. We tried to get an oxygen bottle for the trip to Sana’a but we could not find any.

• My message to the public in Yemen is that COVID-19 exists and that they must take the precaution measures seriously. They should come early to the hospital, as soon as they show symptoms, before they get much worse. An early diagnosis of the condition helps us treat it.
