Following the post election and inter-ethnic violences in the western Ivory Coast, MSF opened a program of medical and surgical emergencies in Duékoué hospital in early January 2011. Today, MSF co,ntinue to support the activities of differnts services of this hospital that has a hundred beds (surgery, maternity, pediatric, IDP... wards) During the first quarter of 2012, teams support surgical emergencies (85% of urgent cases among the 685 surgeries).
