Additional Information / Shotlist Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) supplied the temporary camp with 15 latrines (10 for women, 5 for men) and have visited every two weeks to treat patients. Many of the residents of the camp have suffered from water borne illnesses such as diarrhoea, skin infections and upper respiratory tract infections. Since the construction of the latrines cases of diarrhea and skin infections were reduced. An estimated three million people were affected by flooding caused by September’s monsoon rains in Pakistan, the majority of those in Sindh Province. MSF responded within the district of Jacobabad with programs focusing on water and sanitation, mobile health clinics, distribution of non food items and hygiene and shelter kits.
