As part of its COVID-19 response in Lebanon, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is training and assisting families in the Burj al-Barajneh camp with the practice of shielding. Shielding is a voluntary process that can provide additional protection to people at higher risk of contracting COVID-19, such as elderlies or people living with chronic diseases.
تعمل منظّمة أطباء بلا حدود، كجزء من استجابتها لمرض كوفيد-19 في لبنان، على تدريب العائلات في مخيم برج البراجنة على ممارسات الحماية الوقائية ومدّهم بالمساعدة في هذا الإطار. وتُعتبر الحماية الوقائية مقاربة تُتبّع طوعياً وتهدف إلى توفير حماية إضافية للأشخاص الأكثر عرضة للإصابة بمرض كوفيد-19، مثل كبار السن أو الأشخاص الذين يعانون من أمراض مزمنة.
