[00:30 – 00:33] living with other families,
[00:33 – 00:35] they share tents with other families.
[00:35 – 00:36] So we need to guide the children
[00:37 – 00:38] on how to protect themselves,
[00:38 – 00:40] since their parents are not always around,
[00:41 – 00:44] given the large movement of people in the shelters.
[00:44 – 00:46] So the idea is to encourage the children also
[00:46 – 00:48] to talk and to report
[00:48 – 00:50] if they are going through any case of violence,
[00:50 – 00:51] any case of abuse.

[00:54 – 00:55] we have also prioritised
[00:55 – 00:57] working more with people who are on the street,
[00:58 – 00:59] which I also think is something very particular
[01:00 – 01:02] of the population that arrives here in Roraima.
[01:03 – 01:06] Due to the large number of people,
[01:07 – 01:09] the shelters have no place for everyone,
[01:10 – 01:11] so what is happening is that
[01:11 – 01:15] people have to wait months on the street to get in,
[01:16 - 01:18] until other people leave the shelter.
[01:19 – 01:20] So we have seen
[01:21 – 01:24] that this population has a greater vulnerability
[01:24 – 01:26] then the people inside the shelters.
