[00:16- 00:18] One of the greatest needs is
[00:18 – 00:22] to improve the bathrooms structure
[00:22 – 00:23] that are clogged.
[00:23 – 00:26] The sewage system is clogged.
[00:26 – 00:28] So what happens is children defecate on the floor
[00:28 – 00:29] sometimes.
[00:29 – 00:30] So how are going to say to them:
[00:31 – 00:33] “You need to use the toilet seat”,
[00:33 – 00:35] if your infrastructure is not appropriate?
[00:35 – 00:38] Or if the bathrooms don’t have water? Which happens sometimes.
[00:39 – 00:41] Another important issue that needs to be improved in the shelter
[00:42 – 00:43] is solid waste management.
[00:43 – 00:44] They are very simple measures.
[00:45 – 00:48] We have here the trash cans, the dumpsters,
[00:48 – 00:51] and they don’t have lids.
[00:51 – 00:53] And the lack of lids attracts vectors,
[00:54 – 00:55] which is a health problem.
