One of he measures you can take to protect yourself, is to wear a mask.
A mask is a good preventive measure, to keep from breathing in the virus, or transmitting it if you’re sick.
But you have to remember to put it on, and take it off, properly, for maximum protection.
Wash your hands before putting on the mask.
Put if firmly on your face, and use the nose strip to make sure it fits tightly.
When you take the mask off, touch only the strings.
Be sure not to touch the outside of the mask, as this is where the virus may be.
If you’re wearing the mask while you’re sick, to protect others, be sure not to touch the inside of the mask when you take if off. Put the mask directly in the waste bin, and make sure not to touch anything until you’ve washed your hands.
If your mask is damaged or wet, you should no longer use it.

HAND WASHING
Wash your hands often with soap and water. Make sure to use enough soap, and warm water if available.
Spend at least 20 seconds, washing all sides of both hands, and use plenty of water when you rinse.
If there’s no visible dirt on your hands, an alcohol based hand sanitizer can also be used.

SNEEZE/COUGH ETIQUETTE
Always cover your mouth and nose if you have to sneeze or cough.
Use a tissue, and put used tissues in the waste bin immediately.
And don’t forget to wash your hands.
If you don’t have a tissue, cover your mouth and nose with the inside of your elbow.
It’s best not to use your hands, but if you do, don’t touch anything until you’ve washed your hands.
