In October 2025, Marie Harold was victim of a severe explosion caused by a gas leak in her home. She was treated at MSF Tabarre Hospital and received a customised compression 3D-printed mask to help her skin heal. We met her in December 2025 and in April 2026 to see how the healing process went. She reports significant improvements thanks to the mask.

MSF Tabarre hospital is the only one in Haiti treating severe burns. In 2025, MSF treated 368 burn patients, 19 of whom received 3D masks.
