Since middle of 2016, MSF teams in collaboration with the local organization Fe y Alegría have been providing mental health care to victims of urban violence, including comprehensive care for survivors of sexual violence, in Petare and la Vega, two of the most dangerous districts of Caracas City. In these communities people are constantly exposed to armed robberies, homicides, kidnappings, gang clashes and sexual violence.
