Cholera Epidemic in CAR

The CTU in Longo was created by MSF with the support of the community, and is run by volunteers from the village. Between 12 and 16 August, it attended to 10 patients and registered 1 death.

Additional Information / Shotlist An MSF team travelled by boat to Longo, a village about 40km from Bangui, where they a Cholera Treatment Unit (CTU), managed by volunteers from the community.
A cholera epidemic was declared by the Central African MoH on 10 August 2016.
