Ahed was injured at 25 in a suicide attack in the center of Iraq

Ahed, 25 years old
I was injured too. I hurt my hand.
My leg had to be amputated and I have shrapnel wounds all over my body.
It was just a normal day and suddenly there was an explosion and I lost part of my body; I lost my leg.

After his surgery, Ahed was sent to the BMRC to receive physiotherapy treatmeat and mental health support
Now, he’s in the last stage of the treatment, all his wounds are healed
He has some plans for the future, once he is discharged from the hospital

Ahed, 25 years old
I am thinking of opening a shop, like a mobile phone shop.
I won’t give up my life to disability.
