People have come here because they’ve been fleeing violence and conflict, they’ve been fleeing violence perpetuated by Boko Haram but also due to military operations that are ongoing around this area.

People continue to arrive as there’s still a lot of insecurity in the area. People live here in this camp where they need humanitarian assistance to survive, they need water, shelter, food and health care.

The MSF teams inside the hospital here, are providing a 24 hour service with hospitalisation, outpatient consultations, treatment for malnutrition for children and also maternity service.
