They are often children, victims of domestic accidents linked to poor living conditions

This little girl, she’s a 4-year-old girl, she suffered severe burn injuries seven months ago. Mainly for now, what we can do for her is to mobilise her limbs, stretch her skin which is really contracted. She has severe scar tissue so she needs a lot of mobilisation, and she comes every two days to do dressings management and also to do physiotherapy under sedation.

Physiotherapists work in the operating room too

The major purpose is to control pain or to avoid pain during our intervention.
Also we come to see patients who are in need of mobilisation and that without sedation, probably they would not be able to cooperate.

War-wounded, road accident victims, sick children…
For many patients, physiotherapy is an essential part of treatment
